What the JSON to PDF Converter does
The JSON to PDF Converter turns JSON into a downloadable A4 PDF document. The page starts with the heading Converted Data Export, followed by your data, indented and in a monospaced font so the structure is easy to follow.
The text inside the PDF can be the formatted JSON itself or another format chosen in the Content menu, such as YAML or CSV, which is often easier for non-developers to read. The PDF is A4 with normal margins, so it can be printed directly without changing any settings.
When to use it
- Archiving an API response, configuration snapshot or audit record as a read-only document.
- Sharing data with someone who opens attachments on a phone or tablet without developer tools.
- Printing a record for a meeting; for an editable document choose the JSON to Word (DOCX) Converter instead.

Can I choose a different content format inside the PDF?
Yes. The Content menu appears when PDF is the target. Pick YAML for a cleaner look, CSV for tabular data, or keep JSON to preserve the exact structure.
What happens with long documents?
Text that does not fit on one page continues on the next, so large JSON produces a multi-page PDF. Very long lines wrap at the page edge.
Why is the Download button disabled at first?
The PDF is generated on the server. The button counts down and becomes active once the file is complete, which avoids downloading an unfinished document.
