What the CSV to PDF Converter does

The CSV to PDF Converter creates a downloadable A4 PDF from CSV data. The document starts with the title Converted Data Export and lists your records in a monospaced font, so columns and values stay aligned and readable.

By default the rows are written as JSON objects with your header names as keys. The Content menu lets you choose another layout for the text inside the PDF, such as CSV, YAML, XML or Markdown. That way you can match the document to its reader: CSV for a familiar table, or YAML for a clean list without brackets.

When to use it

  • Sending a data export to someone who should read it but not edit it, or who has no spreadsheet software.
