What the JSON to Word (DOCX) Converter does
The JSON to Word Converter creates a real .docx document from JSON, ready to open in Microsoft Word, Google Docs, LibreOffice Writer or Pages. The document has the heading Converted Data Export followed by your data.
By default the data is written as indented JSON; the Content menu can switch it to YAML, CSV, Markdown or plain text. Because the result is an ordinary Word document, you can edit it, add comments and format it like any other file.
When to use it
- Turning API output or configuration into a document that a reviewer can comment on with Track Changes.
- Adding data to a report, proposal or specification that is written in Word.
- Sharing records with someone who prefers documents to spreadsheets; for a fixed layout use the JSON to PDF Converter.
- Producing a first draft of technical documentation that lists the fields and sample values of an API response.

]Common questions about the JSON to Word (DOCX) Converter
Can I edit the resulting document?
Yes. It is a standard .docx file, not a scanned image or a PDF, so every line can be edited, styled, translated or merged into another document.
Which content formats are available inside the document?
JSON, XML, CSV, TSV, YAML, TOML, INI, ENV, NDJSON, SQL INSERT statements, Markdown and plain text. Choose one in the Content menu before clicking Convert.
Does it keep my JSON key order?
Yes. Keys are written in the order they appear in your input, and values are not rounded or reformatted beyond indentation.
