Where the rate comes from
The converter multiplies your amount by the ETH/USD reference rate. Major currencies use the daily reference rates of the European Central Bank, via Frankfurter; other currencies and cryptocurrencies use a daily market snapshot. Reference rates are mid-market rates: banks, card issuers and exchange offices add a margin, often 1-3%, so the amount you actually receive will be a little lower.
